What was I thinking? Booking a gig the night before a vacation? It’s worth it when I want to perform as much as possible so - grab my 3-year-old and husband. Pack for a week in Cuba and a gig the night before 2 hours away. Off we go tomorrow to play at the Union St. Cafe. I’ve been trying to get there for 2 months but last time we were snowed out. Let’s hope it holds tomorrow.

I am so thrilled at the wonderful emails and comments about my new album AND the sales from CD baby. All I can say is THANK YOU EVERYONE. The internet can be a wonderful tool to get the music out there. Just a note; Weave the Yarn was awarded honourable mention at the 2006 singer/songwriter awards out of London UK!!!! I was thrilled - especially in light of the number of entries.

Ok - I’m off to sand and sun and even if it is cloudy - that’s okay. You can spend more time making a really good sand castle.
