This fall I’ve been doing a lot of writing and stretching my writing skills ’so to speak’. I’ve been writing a ‘celtic opera’ and hope to have the first act finished by Christmas. It is a tall order balancing children with career. However, my daughter sometimes sits intently on my lap and listens as I write out a particular scene. She is amazing. I hope to workshop the scene next spring in a concert format.
I will be performing at the Chester Playhouse Oct. 27th along with Sean Kemp who is a fantastic fiddler. Paul Buchanan and Eilidh Campbell will be playing with me. Hope to see you there!
